Take a picture with you. they know what and where it is. I was looking in the wrong section. Sales rep knew exactly what I was looking for and where it was (up front at lowes).

I use it to grease the skids on my sliding glass doors too.

The Blue can is at Lowes (In the tool department no less)
The Yellow can can be found at most Walmarts (yes, some do have a motorcycle section).

I prefer the Blue can anyway. Goes on easy, drys quick, doesn't sling, and because it's not so thick it better covers the chain and does't pick up as much dirt. Compared to those other "professional" chain lubes (Maxima) I'll never use anything but this stuff again.

I use the Yellow can. I get mine from Walmart.

I'm curious too, to find out the diff, between the Blue & the Yellow cans. I thought they, were at least very close to one another. Can use them interchangeably ???

If one works, just as well as the other, then whoever uses the Blue, should be fine, & vice versa. All in all, I think the Dupont product, to lube the chain, is the best

Who has the technical input on this?

I like them both. The yellow can seems to have just a little bit more penatrating power but both work great regardless.
But good luck finding any after I go shopping . . .

To answer your sig question I would say, definitively couldn't hurt.

Either you use it for a lot more things than just chains. ???

You have say 100 or so bikes.

Or they should put you on the tv show hoarders.:rofl:

Cause I've been using the white Blu-Ray chain lube which dries the same and works great the same way also just cost more. Now grant it may be a larger can but that one can has lasted me quite a while doing chains on 8 bikes. So I would say your kids grandkids should be good on chain lube.

I disagree about Blu-Ray working as good. It collects dust much quicker and your chain gets dirty 3x as fast than with using the Blue can. Have you done an actual comparison? I have.

Ok, I did have to have a psych eval, but they said I passed, which is good, I think.
I wish I had the $ for 100 or so bikes
Hoarders? You should see my Hots Wheels collection

I dont use this stuff just for the motorcycles. It truely is a great multi-purpouse lubricant that will do 95% everything that WD-40 can do.
I also use the blue can for the bicycles tune-ups, sliding door and window frames, hinges, vehicles (hinges, door locks, window channels, weatherstripping) and many more uses. Its not all just for the motorcycle chain!!

Actually it's Bel-Ray sorry. But if that is the same as you are referring to Kieth then it must be dirtier in your neck of the woods  Cause this is what I have been using and for some reason or another my chains seem to stay pretty clean.??? Grant it I do only lube the chain where it is needed(inside the links and o-rings) and not all over the outside of the links where it does do nothing but collect dust & dirt. And it only takes a few minutes and it is clean.

And no, I haven't compared them yet but I'm probably gonna pick some up and see how it does for myself.

No set schedule but all I ever do every now and then is wipe it down with a rag & greased lightning or a little diesel & re-spray. 5 minutes and it's done. Maybe it's just me, I cannot stand anything that is dirty, especially a vehicle whether it has 2 wheels or 4.

And yes, that is a black chain on the gen 1 and not a dirty grease covered chain as most of the ones you see are. Honestly most bikes if you look at them you can see the chain never gets cleaned, only new grease sprayed over the old(dirt & all).
