Kudos to you for being prepared. Just this weekend 3 of my friends bikes were stolen across Tacoma and Seattle WA.. it is ruthless out here and the only person getting a stolen bike back is yourself

I could have the bike on GPS tracker and video of the thieves taking it and they still wouldn't get in a car to help out here

It was definitely someone who knows me and where my bike lays his head because there is a full size car garage as well as 2 bigger sheds in the back yard where his shed is. They only broke into the one my bike was in and they had to of had a spare igniton and some good size balls because they broke into the shed and stayed in there long enough to take out the security screws and unplug my igniton and plug they one they had with them in and take off. At least I assume that's what happened because my igniton is unplugged and still in my triple tree. I know the police said they had like 10 different calls about missing motorcycles after thr storm

Yup that's likely it. I met a guy who boosted bikes and told me he hopes he never comes across my bike because he just unplug the ignition and plugs his in and is gone.

Leaving your keys in the ignition is never a good idea

The sole advantage is that you never lose them....unless someone steals the bike.

The ignition delete switch most people use for racing actually makes it easy to steal a bike. Disconnect one plug and away u go. Should probably disconnect the ignition, add a bunch of shrink wrap, connect it, heat shrink it and wrap it up with tape to make it harder for a thief to disconnect it to steal it.
