Why can't there be a simple answer for these things? Myself I don't have a warranty to make happy. But I do have a motor to break-in pretty soon. I'm gonna try the "contraversial" one

What motor?let us now what you're results are.
a 1397 rebuild including crank and clutch. I will post up results but the result from the contaverial method is supposedly more hp and longer engine life.

So I will have no honest assesment on if it's actually better or not. I'll be able to tell you that my motor is running okay but I'm sure it'll be fine.

bottom line is that you can find 100 guys with 100 opinions and not a single one would be patently right as there is little way to qualify the results..

There may be no difference either way now days with the motors already having been run in and dyno'd at the factory

I just prefer to stick with the factory stuff for the most part..
