OK,
Is there any real benefit to installing one of these things for the normal street rider? I upshift w/o the clutch using a throttle blip most of the time. No probs doing that at all. Just trying to see if it is worth the $$$ to install one of these just to say I have one.

It's been discussed several times, but never thoroughly. I too wonder the same thing. Sure sounds like a great idea.

I didn't understand the meaning of some of the replies, I reviewed all the posts that were mentioned. The question still remains:

Is this a decent mod for the normal street rider or is it a waste of money?

For the street rider don't waste your money. If you want to spend some time at the track, do a little "spirited" street riding or just want a new toy this could be cool. Electric quick shifters have been around for years Dynojet just decided to throw one into the mix.
