I putter around at 3 - 4,000 shifts just gradually cruising along.
It varies if I get the urge to thrash the throttle tho. My cruising
RPM's is between 3-4,000 as well.

I always try to see what kind of MPG I can get out of a tank
so I take it easy around town.

I misread the title of your thread and was going to say, "Daily, about 5:30 am." Then I looked a little more closely. Hmmmmmmmm.

No set rpm. Just depends on my mood at that particular shift.

Usually as soon as I get out of bed before I have a cup of coffee and again later in the day....

Oh. The question is "when do you SHIFT?" Oops..

All these polls, soon it's gonna be like Cosmo mag around here, " Take this quiz and find out what kind of sexy chocolate cake you are."

But seriuosly folks, I shift at 9 to 10 thou regardless if I'm riding through town, in the rain, dragging a peg in a 2nd gear corner....

cheers

LOLOL I dare you to post a poll on what kind of sexy chocolate cake you are....

Ugh, now that i think of it, we have alot of twisted individuals on here and it could go so wrong.

after reading this poll I notice a bad habit, as of late I have been bouncing off the rev limiter from 1-3rd gear a lot lately... I guess is time for some sproket changes... but for me used to be between 7k-9k

Generally around 7,000rpm in just casual riding. The Green Dragon is set and flashed (By Dave Owen) @ 12,000rpm max, so there is still a lot to go from 7.

Whatever I am feeling like is what I shift at. 0 to speed limit as fast as I can get there usually.
