You cannot make the fan come on sooner with a Gen 1 through the ecu, that can only be done on a Gen 2. My advice is that you find a mechanic that knows Busas . . .
im soooo glad im in NY.There are other ways to make the Gen 1 fan (or fans, if you are running two) come on sooner and stay on longer. It is way unusual for a mod like this to be necessary on a stock bike. IMHO, something else is going on, and poppa is about to get fleeced from some wrench with no clue. . .
i hear its so cold in buffalo that bears are known to commit suicide end of fall. lolIf be more happy if Frank moved his shop to Buffalo
At least until the money ran out lol
What are you using for coolant? Try engine ice. Flush the cooling system, replace with engine and make sure you burp it good.

Killer paint job bro!
Thanks Frank your right Ive been researching information and you can only make a gen 2 busa fan come on earlier so Im going to have a Schintz Racing fan installed and a lower temperature fan switch installed do you recommend having a toggle switch for my extra fan or just hooked up to the radiator fan switch and later I will have Schintz Racing flash my ecu , will it hurt my engine riding it with the Yoshumara full system until I get it flashed ??? Thanks for your time and input my friend
Why would you use Schnitz? Are they helping you? There are sponsors on this forum that can flash your ecu for the same price (or lower), and supply you with everything you need to get this bike back on track. The bottom line for me is that coming on this forum prevented you from wasting money, time, and getting frustrated, and as a result, you are now headed in the right direction and will get your bike fixed. So thank me for my time? Go ask Ryan questions . . . I'm out.

If you've since ripped it as you should, you should definately notice a difference in first and second. As the first through fourth gear timing restrictions are removed along with the top speed limiter in the newer versions of ecu editor.
It should raise the front wheel much easier under hard throttle now.
