How do these work w/ Vortex sprockets? I can't remember which brand it was, but I've read conflicting reports about certain chains not playing well w/ Vortex sprockets

I only use EK chains and I've been running Vortex sprockets for a while now. Like Charles said, Aluminum sprockets wear faster than steel no matter what chain is on it.

What is the stock tooth count for front and rear sprockets on a GenI ? Would the zzz work well with a Supersprox rear sprocket?

stock counts for a Gen1 are 17/40. The ZZZ chain works very well.

I bought my chain & sprockets from street & track during the last sale around Thanksgiving, couldn't be happier with the service. Just put them on last weekend.

FYI, on a gen 1 17/42 fits with the stock 112 link chain, it's easily an inch shorter on wheelbase though.
