Electric shifter or Air shifter

I bought a electric pingel shifter & am very happy with it.very easy to tune & performs great.only negitive thing I can say is the weight of the solenoid

Does the point that it kills the spark change, killing the spark earlier or later, depending on the rpm, or is it fixed once installed?

I had an electric shifter on my bike 23 years ago that killed the spark when you manually lifted up on the shift lever but if you set it up to shift quickest at WOT it was off at part throttle.
