I'm about to install a fuse block as well, but with a relay. The relay has a small wire that needs to be connected to a switched line. I had cleaned up the rear-end of my K8 doing the costless fender eliminator mod and then I used the tag light wiring to mount a couple of small LED's to my tag. Would it be alright to just put this relay in to that same tag light wire?
The instructions for this fuse block recommend putting the relay in to a switched power source that deactivates when the starter is engaged, allowing for full power to be available during start-up. But I've heard people say that it's just fine going straight in to any hot wire thats connected to an accessory.
