What we learned at Eureka this year...

1. It's all about Katie!
2. The hotel is approximately 340 feet above the water.
3. Lightning is attracted to green lasers
4. The tip over sensor can be used to regulate cornering lean...
5. Macaroni is a dish served really steamy hot!

Chris had a problem with his bike after he got it back from paint. It kept dieing whenever he would pull to a stop. So in true org fashion we dismantled and found the tip over switch was not mounted to the frame like it should be. We put it back and his bike ran flawlessly the rest of the trip.

met thapp and his son on Wed, we did a little riding, and packed the bikes away for the night...woke up the next morning to a beautiful day and headed out

found Captain waiting for his lunch when we headed back toward the motel to see if anyone else had arrived...i owe thapp and Cap many thanks for helping me rewire the tail lights (went from everyone complaining that they couldn't see them to being told my brake lights are always on )...then, darciedog1 and JustKatie came rolling in

twotonevert joined in the fun and we headed for dinner...a little of the weather rolled in and we sat out back watching it roll in across the lake, it was a pretty good lightning show (best i could do with a handheld camera )

meanwhile, US Marine rode in and sat dripping in the parking lot (he was drenched!)...we gathered everyone up the next morning and started riding, almost lost a license tag but caught it in time and went back to meet Dan, HRHDi, their son David, motochris, and his wife Aileen, 6gear and his son, and thapp's wife Amy with two more of their boys...time for lunch

Captain found a bike just his size (many thanks to David for letting him borrow it )...then, it was back on the road for some more curves and good times

sroos and some friends, MrsTwotonevert, Professor and his wife Kristi, Macon454, and busaprincess454 rounded out the group to do some laughing, riding, eating, storytelling, and just generally having a great time

what an amazing time!! sorry for all that couldn't make it, it was a blast...i can't wait to do it again
