Ever have one of those days?

Have you ever had a day when everything went wrong? It was decent enough to ride.(50 degrees) I went about 10 miles out and got chilly, so I headed back home. I pulled into the garage and shut my bike off. I needed to move it, so I hit the starter, and the battery wouldn't even turn the engine all the way over. I'm glad I didnt shut it off when I was out! Ok, so the battery is gone. No big deal. I thought it might be time for a new one anyway. I pulled the battery out, and noticed the rear tire looked funny. Upon closer inspection, I see a sliver of metal imbedded in the tread. It was so far in the tread, I couldn't even get ahold of it with needle-nose pliers. Great! Now I need a battery AND a rear tire. The dealer was out of batteries, so I went to Batteries Plus, and they were out too. I had to match one up that was the same size, then do the acid thing and let it charge over-night. I did manage to get my tire put on. A new Michelen Pilot. Sunday I woke up expecting it to be even warmer, but when I looked outside, it was pouring down rain.

yep, i feel your pain...last year, i was all set and packed to meet up with several other members and ride to the Fall Busa Bash...i walked into the garage around 8:30 the evening before we were to ride out at 5 the next morning and my back tire was flat on the ground with a big nail in it...of course, every bike shop on the area was already closed and i didn't have another tire to have installed anyway...i literally felt sick to my stomach and it still upsets me when i think about it...i now have a second set of rims with rotors, sprocket and tires so that never happens again!!! i hope you get to ride soon

With my new job I work Friday Saturday and Sunday nights.. Rained all day and night on Weds, so no ridding, then it was butt cold on Thurs. Friday I slept till 5 jess telles me the weather was great, she took all the kids she watches to the park. News said it was in the mid 70's. Was like that all weekend. Get off 2 hours late today so no ridding was exhausted. Was 75 mild wind, not a cloud in the sky. I got up at 3 this afternoon hopign to go for a ride. Now it is not cloudy, and windy. Weather tomorrow? 90% chance of rain. Sometimes you just cant win.
