Exercising his rights.

I've seen a few of these guys that have videos up on YouTube, nothing but a pain in everyone's butt. I've got guns and I'm pro guns in all ways, except this. I'd be happy as pig in mud to carry my AR around with me whenever I felt like it unfortunately, its just not reasonable these days. There are too many soccer moms out there that freak out at the sight of a firearm and call the cops. Now the cops have to deal with the complaint and the 30 others they're sure to get rather than writing tickets to Kawi guys like they should be.
What happens when Joe Nobody sees the guy and decides he needs to point a gun at him thinkin he's a mass shooter on his way to be evil? Now AR guy has a gun pointed at him for no lawful reason, I bet that'll work out well.
If ya live in Alaska, Montana or some rural place and you need to go to the general store with your .45 on your hip, have at it, but why patrol the suburbs with an AR to prove a point? The only point you prove is you shouldn't have that weapon as your not responsible enough to keep it put away until your in the right environment to take it out.
Way to give the liberals more ammo to shoot the gun guys arguement down with.

Bruce Bell, I don't mean to sound like an arse and I hope I'm still on Christmas card list.

Maybe we should plan a day for everyone to open carry.

This would not be to intimidate anyone, but to show our support (in numbers) for the 2d Amendment.

I dont think that helps further 2A rights, it makes regular, law abiding people look stupid.

Dumb. If that same scenario would have happened in many of our neighborhoods, I am sure there would have been a serious incident... Idiot

That officer handled the situation extremely well it's nice to see an officer handle himself that way. On the other hand I understand this young man is excercising his rights but why? What's his purpose?? Just because he can or?

That's pretty stupid.

I'm sorry, If I see you walking down the street carrying your AR, I'm going to call the Police, and get mine...not saying you don't have the right, but you need to get asked about it....as I would expect if I started carrying mine down the street...

I ride up town with the M-4 strapped all the time. I guess everybody's so busy looking at the bike they don't notice

He's doing it because he's an idiot and wanted to make a scene and get his 15 minutes of fame. After everything that just happend and the fuss surrounding these weapons I'm surprised nothing came about from it

Ya know these gun haters do all kinds of outrageous sht, nobody shames them, the guy was within his rights and not making as much of a scene as the 99%er mobs in the cities throughout the country, if people don't like it, too f'n bad, its his right and its legal. Kepp acting like scared little rabbits and you will lose the rest of the rights you have left. That being said I see no reason to carry a M4 around, the 12gauge is better.

You dont see the haters of freedom oohing and aahing whenever they open their trap to spread outrageous propaganda, publishing gun owners addresses, harassing gun owners, accusing people of being racist because they think Obama is a socialist/communist, slandering people who disagree with them on a constant basis in the MSM, fellow travelers etc etc. I say if they want to complete the destruction of the constitution let them try it now, time to start pushing back not acting like one of the steeple.
