Been looking at different slip ons.
Two Brothers M2's

Vance and Hines

Not sure how either sounds, looking to stay under $600 if possible $500. Vance and Hines are under $500 and I like the look. Just not sure if they are good. Slip ons don't do too much so I am picking based on how they look and sound. Also, if anyone knows what else might need to be done. I have heard of a backfire issue and others. I don't really want to get a power commander or too many other things just to get a better sound and look.

found answer on backfire. Block off plates doesn't sound too bad. Hopefully thats all I'd need.

Bolt-ons are really about looks and sound. Not much else to help you decide. They are also finicky in that some bolt on with nothing additional required or some produce a backfire that is corrected with removal or blocking of the PAIR. There are folks that run each of those set-ups, but the choice is yours. Good luck.

Go full system,save you money down the road when you decide you need some performance.Did I mention that the HMF's are the heat!

The Busa responds very well to a full pipe system......usually around 10RWHP with BDE/Hindle, Akro, Ti-Force Sumo,Arata and Muzzy for single systems and HMF for dual system......Save your money and buy a full system of your choice. The weight reduction is in excess of 10 LBS if its a titanium or CF setup

full system to reap the hp benifits . do you need a pclll and tune? i know with the "marble mod" installed with slip ons, prob is cured ! you can always get rid of the slip ons when you decide to go full system ? i have the two bros carbon fiber bolt ons they look and sound great ! full system ,block off plates , and tune this winter ! just cant decide which system ?

Don't go with the vance&hines. Save up and get a full system.

I went w/ the black D&D Boltons.... After that a marble did wonders for the backfiring.

Actually just got a D&D full system. Can the marble work for that too?

I had a yoshimura 4 into one full system for about a year, about six moths ago I upgraded to a full system titanium from Arata. The bike gained about nine horses on the dyno by just changing the pipe and playing with the map a bit and the sound is totally outstanding.

Is the marble mod a must with after market full systems ? Looking to go 4 in 1. If so please give me a link. Did not get anywhere with search on "marble".

okay you do not need to map (it does help_ but the weight savings along is worth the money.
sencond if you want slip=ons just pull your off it is the same performance and sound.
