I had a Muzzy before I went with the boost...I loved it...Good quality and excellent sound...It's louder than most of the other aftermarket full systems but it's not irratating...
I don't think there's a major difference between any of the aftermarket systems...The manufacture will tout HP gains anywhere from 12 to 20 HP but you put the bike on the Dyno and you've gained somewhere between the mentioned numbers...So if you factor in cost -vs- performance the Muzzy will always be on the top of my list...A new Muzzy system can be delivered to your door for $530.00...
Also you can factor the weight loss of the different systems...How much does a two or three pound difference mean to you -vs- cost???
i think teh equation was every 10 lbs is 1 hp so on top of the 3-4 lbs the brock will give you another 1 hp. If you go to the veltune site here it has a link to drag bike that shows a busa with a map making damn near 14 hp over the muzzy
where did u get the HMF twin high mount? i looked on www.kneedraggers.com and they didnt have anything but a single can.

well if your wanting to stay way you are, then HMF BigBird System.Cant decide what kind of exhaust to install, it needs to look good and be loud...

here's my old system :
If you want the dual look. then go HMF High Mount Dual system.
Or get all the HMF Dual System and go with these cans instead. Yoshimura Tri-Oval Exhaust System cans(2) Dunno if will be loudest BUT would be a combination to try out.
Also which ever WAY you GO, Get the Carbon Fiber Cans.

BigBS, if you're not all that big into power gain, then go with the Micron. You can get a can that compliments the color of your bike.
i most likely will not be drag racing. mostly whoopin it on the highway and in touring mode. i was thinking of the yoshi line. can't decide single or dual. i like the dual look. i don't want harley loud and annoying, but something deep enough to be respected. course the kanji on the side will bring the respect anyway. lol
My wife has not had any problems with the pipes. The cans do get warm, but not enough for pass. discomfort.

Honestly, I'm not that interested in gaining the most hp (did I say that)! I do want the best combination of looks and performance that I can get for the money. I have heard some people doing equally well with both the Akra and Micron systems.
I still like my Micron, but if I had to do it again.... I would be torn between the HMF's that pipefighter has, the Hindle, or a Muzzy. From all the reports from Johnnycheese, the Muzzy isn't at all a bad pipe to put on and it performs just as well, or outperforms some of your more expensive and hp-producing pipes.
