Exhaust recommendations

I am not sure if this has been posted before as I did not see too many threads on this.

I have an 03 Busa with a PCIII and a K & N filter. I want to upgrade my exhaust from stock to........

I am undecided as to just use slipon's or go with a full system.

I have seen threads on Akrapovic, Yosimura, 2 brothers racing, etc....

They all claim that they are the best ever. So my question is, who has used what and what are the recommendations?

I had an Akrapovic full system on my 06 and loved it. Too bad it would not fit my 08. I thought it had just the right sound - not too loud, just mellow when cruising, but it would howl when you got-on it.

Slip ons don't really deliver much performance but better sound. The restriction is in the header. I vote full system. Search the site for performance evaluations. Lots of info on what pipe does what and typically the stock filter out performs the K&N on the dyno, if that's what you're after vs. filter maintenance. Good Luck
