Expensive lawn mower?

I use whatever I find on the curb in the spring. It amazes me how many people throw away a lawn mower for a fouled spark plug, bad gas, or a dirty carburetor. One year my son and I collected about ten of them, got them running and gave them to charity.

I'd avoid the Toro's. Check around on the reviews. Even the more expensive models have a bad rep.

Honda HRX with the Hydra-Static drive is top notch. I have an older, 10 years, version that still run's like a top. Expect to pay $800 or so but it's a high quality piece of equipment.

You only buy quality once.

Links for reviews? I've been on Epinions and they look good. I want the best mulching mower ever made. I'll pay good money to never bag again.

It's been awhile since I made my last purchase. First bagger from Snapper lasted 25 years before the wheels wore out. Could have spent about $100.00 and fixed the wheels, but went to the dealer and got the Ninja mulching mower from Snapper. I think that was 6 or 7 years ago. All I've done is pour gas in it.
I really need to do an oil change, air filter , and plug this spring.

Looks like Toro Super Recycler is best mulcher...even add the Atomic blade. Any other great mulchers?

I'm surprise no one has posted one of these bad boys:
