I went +4" and lowered it 1" front and rear.  It slows it down in the turns, but I still keep up with my friends on spirited rides.  I really like it this way.

Here is 10" over with a 300. you can see the tire sticks out way past the tail section.

Do you have a side picture of you bike? i think that when i get mine I'd want to do something like that...it looks good from the back!
