extreme blue HID

I stuck to the 6000K. You might want to look at your State Law. Here in idaho it says if your light out put is over 300 candle power it can not be set to shine in the eyes of oncomming trafic under any load conditions.

I figure the 6000K are close enough to white not to get bothered.

OP, what temp range are those? I have an 8k low beam I'm installing and I'm wondering how it will compare...

6000k is mostly white with a hint of blue
8000k is a very light blue
1000k is more blue, I woudl guess those are 10,000k in the picture.

You can order 15000k which is pure blue, some people sell them as 20,000k, or 25000k, but they are all the same color essentially since the kelvin scale goes to infinity and infinity is also blue

It is true that light output diminishes, in terms of what you see, the remaining light created is in the ultraviolet spectrum and though the light is created, its not visible to you.

Add me to freinds, Id be happy to help with anybodys HID related issues!!

I have 5000K High and Low HID and this morning is the first I have used them since the installation. I am not sure if I am going to keep the HID high beam it doesn't seem to make much difference going from low to high, maybe high needs to be adjusted but it takes a few seconds to warm up and when you have to bounce back and forth between low and high I think I may be better off with a non HID high beam.
