Fairing Help/opinion!!!!

I guess I'm a little late for this, but this might help someone in the future. Glad you got it fixed.

If your plastic cracks, and it's going to be a while before you can get it fixed, then this will at leat prevent the crack from getting any worse.

Drill a small hole (1/16" - 1/8") at the end of the crack. This is called stress relieving. This will stop the crack from spreading until repairs can be made. I made a cheezy pic here at work on MS Paint. Crack is green, stress hole is red.

i had the top faring on my r1 plastic welded and you could not tell it had been done. The co. that did the repair said they had plastic welded much worse.Yours looks like an easy repair to a pro.
infact the company was so good that i decided to reverse my car into a post on christmas day just to let them test there skills!!!

Yeah we call that stop drilling...and if the crack comes back, I'll do that.
