Fall Bash 2009 -- Who's going?

What time will you be passing Asheville NC, I live there and will be riding in.

My reservations are at the San Ran Thursday thru Sat nights.

I could use a "pace" vehicle, lol...

I'll be sure to get in contact with you as time gets closer to leave. It'd be great to grab another member for the ride into Robbinsville

I've been on the org since well before I bought my bike in March (lurker) and always said that I would attend the first bash I could. Looks like Uncle Sam has another plan for me so I'll be in the sand-box for this one. Look for me in the spring hopefully, the wife and I are looking into renting a 5 bedroom cabin for the entire week of the bash so maybe we could help out those who were unable to get a room. Remember your cameras so us unfortunate souls can live through the rest of you.:beerchug:

Sorry to hear about that. We will take a ride for you in mind & spirit. I promise! Look forward to seeing you home safe & sound for the Spring Bash :coolcool:

Does anyone read road runner magazine? I found the feb 09 issue laying around the office so I picked it up and was flipping though. They have a 5 page lay out on the dragon and the surrounding area's with 2 nice routs. I will try and scan and post the routs in a bit... I couldnt find the artical online or I would post the link.

I'd be interested in knowing what they picked too. There are 100s of miles of awesome roads in the area.

I hate computers... I just coppied the page then scaned it then emailed it to myself just to find out its too big! I will try to find another way to post it

Sorry this isnt too great but here is the first one... its 174 miles round trip starting in bryson city so it would be shorter starting in Robbinsonville

Throw in the Foothills Parkway on this one and I'll go....as a passenger anyway.

I plan on keeping this and bring it to the bash but then I realized we are like 60 days away and I will probably miss place it by then... But I will try not to lose it lol

Not a clue this will be my first time in the area so I am just along for the ride! I figured you all might like this maybe for a short night run after the dinner or somthing... The pictures in Road Runner were breath taking! I might need to invest in a good camera for this and because the wife loves taking pictures so I am sure she will be willing to snap a few for you all too! Not that it really matters because they will all be posted up here anyways lol
