Farmer's Markets-anyone else hate them?

My g/f always want us to "spend more time together" which is fine and I always propose going on a sweet cycle ride (on my Wing) thru the mtns which she'll often do.

But she wants me to go with her to the farmer's markets on the weekends too. And I gotta say, that I'm bored out of my mind at these things and lately have been saying I don't wanna go and she's kinda pissed at me for that. Am I wrong? Should I go? I really just can't stand them......so freakin' dull and boring. We're not there all day or anything....maybe an hour but what a painful hour!
 
don't mind 'em. it's better than a parking lot.

the mall isn't bad.....atleast you get to check out the women. Just don't make it obvious...LOL
 
Take a bike magazine, or a portable MP3/DVD player with you. At least you're with her that way but your mind isn't being paralyzed.

Also, take her to a bike show or something you enjoy so she can experience the other side of the equation. She might even like doing stuff you like to do, and consider that enough "Us" time to let you off the market thing.

depends if you want a long term relationship or not. It aint all riding time.

It's a partnership dude. I've been with the same wonderful lady for24 yrs now.
She is my best friend. We each have our own hobbies, and support one another in them.
She does horses, I do bikes/atv's. I help clean the barn, she rides atv's with me.....
Life can't always be about you.
Unless, of course you don't care about a future with her.....
 
You are lucky... I go to the farmers market, outlet stores, mall, MOTHER IN LAW'S HOUSE , friends baby showers and the list goes on and on and on... I would think I died and went to heaven if it was just the farmers market. There is an upside to it though... But I get what you mean Farmer's Markets suck for guys.
 
Ok...I went happily along to the market. It was fine....only there about 40 min or so. She bought lots of stuff and we had some good food. Then later in the day we rode about 150 mi on the Wing

True but they have arts and crafts, jewelry, home-made women's clothes. My g/f has a tendency to get lost in that stuff for awhile and I can only look at oranges and avocados for so long
