FastFairings.com Full Body Kits

none of those fairing kits fit like factory or are flawless.

in one breath you say they came on the bike and in another you say you bought them? if you didnt fit them against oem then you can judge the fit and finish against oem.

to each his own but you have backwards decals, homemade wood panel to hold the gsxr gauges on, and the exhaust doesnt look right either, i doubt much on that bike fits like oem.

You, my friend, look like a fool by your assumptions.
A. My bike came with both OEM and aftermarket fairings, the OEM ones had gotten fairly scratched which is why the previous owner bought a new set of aftermarket ones.
B. I never said the aftermarket ones that came on the bike fit like OEM, I said the new ones that I recently bought did and unless you have bought a set yourself then I'd say it's you who could not possibly compare how the 2 fit. I have bought and fixed up 10 bikes in the last 3 years, I'm fully aware of how OEM fits vs. good and bad aftermarket. The fairings that I just got for my superhawk don't fit anywhere near as well as OEM for example.
C. My decals aren't backwards, they are slant corrected and I don't know what that has to do with this discussion as I had them cut by a board member here in the USA.
D. The wood panel to hold my gauges was a prototype for my final mount which is made from PVC. Again, I don't know what that has to do with how fairings fit except for maybe that I understand better what it takes to make things fit.
E. The exhaust is a complete Gen II system headers to cans which fits just fine thank you.
F. You can doubt all you want about what fits like OEM on my bike but you would be wrong.

i have seen and helped people install these kits, they fit like ****, your decals are backwards on one side, because they are duplicates of each other not l and r stickers like oem has. again rigging together something like pvc and wood shows your ability to accept things sub par. that can shouldnt be sticking way up like that and the reason it does is its not made for that bike, i could be wrong on that one but i had a r-77 on my old gsxr and a few friend have yosh systems and none of them are hiked that high and have the band at what looks like a 45 from the peg mount.

so taking advice from people like you is the reason people that want things to fit right end up with a pile of junk and a lighter pocket. like i said to each his own, some people like riding a rat bike, some people dont but your statements of quality are jaded and obvious by anyone who looks at your bike for a few minutes.

So much for the Christmas spirit:(

Well obviously you have never installed this specific kind of kit but believe what you will.
The stickers ARE NOT backwards, not sized like OEM or even intended to look like OEM, open your eyes.
Trying to make a judgement call on my methods because I used wood to prototype is just stupid.
The exhaust is an OEM gen 2 header and Yoshi gen 2 cans model number 1121255 if you would like to look it up.

Everything on my bike fits perfectly, many people have contacted me about how I fitted some of the stuff on my bike and all have had positive feedback. I have found a few items that didn't work as well as I hoped but I then shared that information with the other members on the board to save them from wasting their cash.

If you have nothing but criticism and no really useful information to contribute, then why don't you just keep it to yourself. Some of us don't have bottomless wallets and appreciate advice on how to save a dollar here and there.

You do know that technically the symbol cannot be reversed and still be the "hayabusa" symbol so you are wrong. In their writing it would not make sense because the symbol is reversed. It is only done like that on stock decals for aesthetic reasons. I noticed it just like you, and I do not like it but who cares and how is it your place to make such a big deal of it? It isn't, so chill out and take the non-OEM or "American" part garbage to a Harley forum.

Maybe you should stick to riding your OEM piece of junk bike and stop being so unnecessarily judgmental of others practices and bikes.

Ouch.Merry Christmas.

The problem I see is that both of those are ~$400 more than the eBay vendors and then you still have to buy your own logos. i believe the fairings that came on mine are eBay specials and they look and work fine, not OEM but good enough. I'm happy enough with the quality that I'll be picking up a set of ebay for my VFR800 soon.

Kits 3808: Logo Sets for the 2006 Suzuki Hayabusa, Special Edition

is that why tape works the only people allowed to duplicate stickers are marked ls rs?

saving a dollar is ok, buy the levers if you want junk anodizing, buy the fairing if want lesser quality fit and finish, buy any of the knock off crap you want, but trying to mislead someone into thinking they are the same when there not is wrong. sorry you and your china fanboy are butt hurt.

have a nice holiday.

That made no sense.

 butt hurt? oh boy. Only person I ever see get butt hurt is you because you are one of the people who always puts your seriously deficient 2 cents into every thread this stuff is mentioned in. I forget, please tell me how my rotors or brake pads are lacking in quality? Oh wait they aren't :beerchug:. Once again your attempt to belittle cheaper parts because you have something against parts that arent oem or made in the USA is a big fail.

Have a great Christmas! More than half the presents you probably bought everyone is made in china and "lacks in quality and is garbage."

you missed the point and i lapsed in some grammar, sorry. didnt know i was responding to an english major.

pm'd ya too, dont want to de-rail this anymore.

sorry for the jack OP, figured the advice of them being so great should be accompanied by other great mods by the same, guess not. :beerchug:

Congratulations m_ridgeway, you posted an old picture of my bike with the original fairings (which I said didn't fit as well as OEM but good enough) and with kanji that are not reversed. Like I said, the new fairings fit perfectly and none of the kanji are reversed.

And are you seriously going to start bashing the levers? I have seen literally dozens of people post on this board that they (like me) have found the Chinese race levers to be every bit as good as Pazzos. I now have them on my CBR1100xx, my VFR800, my Superhawk and my Hayabusa (and my Hyosung before I sold it) and they are all perfect, no problems whatsoever. So why are you making up crap? About anodizing ? ? ? Seriously ? ? ?

So if you're so sure of your position m_ridgeway, why do you choose to PM me privately with messages like this:

thats the pictures you posted i didnt search for them, those decals are backwards, im sure the new ones are the same. very few people take the time to duplicate both sides and print them. btw those fairing in that pic are not the originals.

the anodizing will wear off, been posted all over even about your loved china levers.

but im making stuff up right? how about using google or the search engine here. they arent the same, never will be. continue to lie and make **** up yourself. i'll continue to buy from the people that design your cheap copies, without people like me and several others that dont cheap out at every aspect of owning a motorcycle, your china bff's wouldnt have **** to copy.

you're a poser and people like you ruin forums with your misinformation.

have a merry christmas and go **** yourself douchebag
.

Merry Christmas.

I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from a Hong Kong seller. I was actually contemplating on purchasing an entire set when I crashed my Ninja 250R. The cost of one OEM main fairing can get an entire quality set. A majority of things are already manufactured in China to begin with, so who really cares? To make the generalization that "all" the international aftermarket fairings are crap is just plain silly. Just like with anything else, some are going to be good and some are going to be bad. Whether it's from America, China, India, Mexico, or wherever... it's irrelevant. All you have to do is look at the positive/negative feedback of the eBay seller and mini-reviews of the people who actually bought and installed it to make that determination.
