Hey was goin to get this on today but ran out of welding wire. Rotate your welding supplies and keep stuff dry! my last spool is all wet and fuzzy! Got it all sorted out though! Does anyone know how handling is affected with the tire a 1.25" off?

The offset of the 240 tire is a definite turnoff for me. I can't help but believe the handling would be adversely affected. Have you ever seen a car going down the street and the front and rear wheels track differently. Would a 240 busa ride that way. 240 owners chime in.

Not sure what your asking.

Would I ride on a broken swingarm, no way.

Would I ride on a 250mm tire, sure.

I think he is saying that the tire is not centered with the bike.

As stated above he offset the tire instead off using a jack shaft.

So will the tire not being in line with the bike cause him prollems.

What are prollems ?

If you just do straights and cruise, no.

Thanks for the comments and knowledge. If anyone knows where i can get an offset primary sprocket, please let me know.

Well that was easy! Thanks maybe a good thing i ran out of wire! Just a diff in spacer's that i still got to figure out anyway. I'll see how much 0.25" gets me.

Be sure to scruff up the tire good before any hard corners. new tires have some sort of oily stuff on them and makes them slippery until broken in.

Hey Bigger! your Bike is turning heads like it should

I hear ya on the greasy tire thing! No twisty's here anyway. And this is for show only NOT for "GO". As easy as it is to drop the swing arm out of these with C stand I'd do it for cleaning.

Hello Friends, Bigger-Busa here. After my crash on the fat tire busa i wasnt sure if id ride again ......but Friday i picked up a new black and silver '06 busa and in two days havve 300+ miles on her!!!
it was a bit nerve racking the first few miles, looking left, right, left, right many times before pulling out but it all came back to me in no time. road down to the beach here in CT and was enjoying the hobby i missed most,
When i crashed i lost my health, was hit financialy and lost my favorite stress reless.
Got a new Busa and even saved $1,000 as i got it from the same dealer i got my '05 from. i paid $10,375 for the bike and $1,600 for the insurance... not to bad right?
im cutting the rear fender down and relocating the rear turn signals today. i'll post a few pix as allways soon. Thanks again for everyones support and help through the tough healing process. See ya out and about soon! Bigger-Busa.
<span style='font-size:15pt;line-height:100%'>PS, No huge back tire this time.</span>

Wow! Did i really say "No big tire this time)??
Hmmm, well i guess as i healed up and got stronger my natural need to have a freaky bike just took over. i guess i just like the monster tire look and feel. This new bike rides so much better than the old one. this has the air ride and it make s a huge difference.
i sold all my OEM parts and id never go back to standard size tires again. next bike will have a 360 tire

i did have one mishap so far. come back from Chaplin CT, an hour ride, my front chain came off! The way i put the master link on it was wrong and the rivets came loose. luckily the chain fell free of the bike and i coasted to a stop. i got a proper master link and used the correct crimping tools this time.

Is the sprocket offset assembly an item of inspection more often? Is it the first and last thing B4 you ride? How often do you lube the short one?
