BALTIMORE - A grieving father won a nearly $11 million verdict Wednesday against a fundamentalist Kansas church that pickets military funerals out of a belief that the war in Iraq is a punishment for the nation's tolerance of homosexuality.

I can see how someone would think "religious" people are idiots is that's the example they see, but that would also be like making assumptions about ethnic groups based on the people of that group that make the most news. If we did that we would be called racists.

Had to pull security detail because of this back in the summer. I think it is much deserved. I couldn't believe someone would act this way at a funeral.
