That's what is stylish these days. A few of my 20-ish co-workers spend $200+ for jeans like that. If I had a daughter I would say they were less revealing than a pair of shorts.
I personally don't like them but they are the current popular style. If she's a good kid, good in school, and is respectful.....let her enjoy what all the other fashionistas are wearing! Heck, if we(men) bought their clothes they might all look like Dorothy in Wizard of Oz...or the Good Witch!
She is for the most part an excellent little woman . I don't mind tight jeans or clothes that could be seen as 'sexy' as she's coming into her own and i want her to be happy .
But it's just the buying of 'holey' jeans that aggravates me .
Yes I wore torn jeans growing up but those were holes I earned crashing my kdx80 or sliding down the road off my skateboard .
These are new and torn and twice as expensive as a regular pair .
Why she doesn't like Sears Toughskins I don't know
Well, at least she doesn't have to crash to earn her "holey" jeans.....If you dump the pants you will no doubt be springing for new ones, al least until a new fad comes along! Good luck! Maybe you should get a pair and sport them around the house???
The thing that gets me is my GF has these types of jeans and she just loves them. Now, if I wear a pair that has a little rip in the knee or near the pocket she flips out and says that I can't go in public dressed like that. Wearing torn jeans in all. But her's are okay because she bought them like that.
