fatter tire?

I saw a Metzeler ad the other day in CW for 40 series fatties but they don't make tires for the busa. I ask because I left a bike shop the other day and nailed it really hard up on the tank, when I shifted to 2nd at first I thought I had missed it, then it hooked up. I turned around and went back those guys were tripping out, they saw it break loose.

Went tire surfing on the web, Bridgestone doesn't list an OEM tire for the busa...?

But it did list the BT010 as OEM for the 929rr...

'lanta,

I know what you mean, I was leaving a freinds house and got on it. Thought I missed 2nd and backed off, returned to a nice blackie on the pavement in front of his house!!

What's even funner is when she tries to flat track it on you coming out of a corner!! I have a nice tight 90 degree corner (uphill) just up the street from my house that I continually break loose on coming out of it just because I can... :)

The looks I get from my riding bud's are priceless. :)

That Metzler 240 is one big f'ing tire!! :)

You need a beadlock..outside edge to outside edge on mine is 8 inches! stretch a 190 on it and youll have a very wide contact patch!

Vass dis beadlock?

calling der nlr dude shortly, poss. include on der chek for der swingarm...

Beadlocks are used in motorsports and in the military when the tire's internal air pressure cannot reliably be counted on to keep the tire attached to the rim. The tire goes on the outside of the rim, and a ring is bolted down over the outside of the bead, pinching it to the rim. They are used on Hummers, Desert racers, and drag race cars. They can be expensive.
