The FI light came on the other day! So I stopped the bike switched off and back on again and it was OK again and has been normal since? Anyway I got hold of the diagnostic switch tool and connected it up today and the reading is as follows -COO ... with the bar at the top? Any of you guys know what this indicates?

according to my manual ... its as follows :-

Malfunction / Defective
code / Item
=========== / ========
c00 / NO FAULT

..... my guess is that ur injector valves are starting to foul up ... just add some injector cleaners into ur fuel tank and all will be fine. Its fine now anyway right?

Yeah its Ok right now!
But the bar line in front of the -COO is supposed to be in the middle? Mine is at the top?? Any ideas?

The bar you're talking about is your TPS adjustment indicator.

TPS needs adjustment. The only problem that i've had with my BUSA is the one that you have.Nothing major,my dealer let me leave the dealership with this problem.I bought a service manual and diagnose the problem.I would suggest that you invest in one if you don't already.Small cap cOO is not a bad code but large cap COO IS A BAD CODE.

Hi guess who is back I leave for awhile and false info breeds.
Ok ESS33 what manual do you have there is no C00 code that is =to no problem maybe you would like to share what you know that your dealer and my bike and book don't
WELL?
Batter up!

JohnnyJohnnyJohnny still waiting on a key lashing.I'm sure you can buy and sell me ten times over!!!! NOT!!! If i need you i will call you. NOT!!!

Don't worry I can have more fun with you than you could ever imagine.Come to the other side Labusas.org and I will show you how to live life.NOT you would most likley get scared and run with your tail between your legs. :)

So does any one know what this code means (bar at top captial-COO)? As I do not have a service manual yet? Where can I get a service Manual from in english! who will ship by UPS to Egypt?
The 'MODE SELECTION SWITCH' part No 09930-82710 I got in Toyoko for Y920 = $8.50

You need a security torx wrench to fit the tps sensor located on the left hand side(sitting on the bike) of the injector bank. You also need a staple or a paper clip to jump out the connector located under the drivers seat, also left side.Black 2 wire connector with cap on it.Remove your drivers seat and then lift fuel tank and put it on the little stand they gave you.Start the bike let it warm up make sure it is idleing around 1100 rpm.Remove the weather cap on the 2 wire connector and then jump the plug out.Take your security torx wrench and loosen the 2 screws that secure it to the injector bank ,rotate sensor untill the line is showing in the middle of the dash indicator(C-00)then tighten the sensor.Remove jumper and reassemble. This statement was for information purposes only if you want to be sure check your manual or have a qualified service tech do the job :).

That last post ommited stuff and contains errors.

Lyle set me straight on it
Get either JohnnyCheese, themotorhead or Lyle to explain PROPERLY
If not it could well cost you dearly

that is the dealer mode and it says your tps is set correctly if its in the middle but if it aint broke don't fix it.this will not cause your injection light to come on if it is not in the middle.is the factory tach realy accurate enough to set the tps correctly?i have my doubts about it.i say suzuki set them at the factory whitch has better tools and equipment than us.if its on the top but will drop in the middle once in a while leave it alone.this will keep it slightly richer and smoother in the lower throttle inputs.

Also you have to wait 5 seconds between adjustments for it to read, and after you tighten the screws down the setting sometimes changes.I have begged for Suzuki to give me voltages specs but the keep saying NO so I need to check several bikes to find the range.MTH is correct the FI light will not come on unless it trips a code and by turning the key on and off you recycle the systemcausing you to lose the code (same on GPZ1000 with DFI) it will only store it if you have repeated failure of the same componet.
NO answer yet from ECS33. Don't you want to play?

Your right motor head,I'm sorry,I might quit before I get started.Sorry JC, might fly the Piper over to Labusa.. NOT...
