hi mate good job on that bike congrats thats where we r heading with my bike.
gen 1, 1340 lowered strapped ,stock gearing, sock wheel base ,on pump fuel .
best to date 9.019 &159.14 fastest street bike in aus whether it BE a gen 1 geN2 or 3 .still behind.Hand clutch.

Man thats flying on the motor!! I can't even go that fast on the spray on my bike.

thanks mate i really like the u came of the line onyour 8.81 when & if i can do that should be 8.6s 8.7s & well over 160.we just pu in another map wow .

Thanks man! The first few passes i was getting off the clutch too quick and it was wheelieing. So I tried riding the clutch out a little longer it started going faster. The 60' was still not where it could be but it wasn't bad. Made one pass that felt REALLY good. But something happened with the clocks and I didn't get a time. Hopefully this spring we can get her to go a little quicker. Fiends bike is very smooth and easy to ride. Really makes me want a 2nd gen busa.

hi mate what did u think of me leaving the line ? late on the throttle u think ?
my last 3 runs were all in the 1,5s best 1,546 compared 2 u looks like t wound the throttle 1 hour later, still good 60 but looks like i can go quicker. took off like old lady.?

Horsepower calculator says you used 194hp to mph and 192hp to et,thats incredibly efficient and goes to show your taking full advantage of all 6 gears and using full throttle throttle and the optimum rpm spread taking full advantage of the stretched wheelbase, kill time sounds around 35-40ms.Much tougher to use the hp to et with stock wheelbase and can only use 4 gears efficiently.Your 60-330 split is 2.32 which is aided by gearing and very good, but your 330-1320 of 5.03 is hugely faster than normal for a stock engined gen2.They normally run around high 5.15+ to 5.25 with an average weight good rider.Good air, good fuel, light rider and 6 gears have really been taken advantage of.Ive seen stock engined gen2,s use this amount of hp under the right conditions, dont expect to do it yr round though.Hats off for a great effort ,sometimes at the track, magic happens, you just have to prepare properly in the shed and some days it all plays out. Great Result arent great until youve got a heap of doubters, lol.

I believe it. Looks very similar to my setup and my timeslips. My bike is a little shorter and lighter, I'm a little heavier, I'm geared 17/46 and use 5 gears to go 8.80's on stock motor, no nitrous. People accuse me of having a built motor or nitrous. In fact I think I have a thread here that went about the same way this one has gone. To the OP, just take the doubters as a compliment!

I'd say your doing good being swb man. It so much harder to go fast, short. You should try adding weight to your front wheel. We hung about 20 lbs on my front wheel with a piece of allthread through my front axle and it definitely helped. It would definitely help keep the front down and you'll 60ft better. You should definitely try it. It can't hurt.
