I just got back from a 40 day paid vacation to the wonderful Mojave Desert and man did I miss this place and you guys. You Cali guys have great riding weather out there that is for sure. It only rained once for about 5 minutes and that was it. The unit that I am at now I am one of the ony Marines that ride a sportbike and I was going crazy not being able to talk motorcycles for that long. I would be waiting at the PX for the newest cycle mag to come out. Anyways glad to be able to get back on the board and I am sure that I will spent the next few hours catching up. (Dave I will give you a call tom bro)

Yeah I was out your way for a bit Gunny. At the luxurious Camp W. I wish I would have said something now too. I had a weekend to go to main side and it would have been cool to try and grab lunch while I was there.

The only time I ever went UA was from a CAX in 91... hey, is there a statute of limitations?? Uh never mind....
 
Well, I remember being out there for six weeks, no females, no warrior club... just a big white canvas for movies. They kept playing 9 1/2 weeks... somebody had a sick sence of humor....

They have improved the Camp quit a bit out there for sure. I am with division so still no females but we did have a laundy facility and the warriors club and a coffee shop and the way that chow hall was it is a good thing too.
 
CAX aint to bad when you have your own MMF with a microwave, fridge, TV, sega playstation, and a cot. Not to mention the AC keeping it a nice 68 degrees
