Finally got me a Busa

Had the turbo gixxer at Mid ohio this year.. did you see it there by chance??? Not too many of these around.

nah i didnt see it....  too many bikes and not enough time to look at them all

I hear ya, put down 213 rwhp @ 6psi boost on pump gas just before Mid-Ohio with the gixxer though.I hope to get about 260-275 on the bottle with the Busa. They weigh about the same, but the Busa is WAY more areodynamic.Should be able to get 220mph at Maxton with the stock gearing and then switch it up(the gearing) and run in the 8's at Norwalk or 42.

Now for the newb stuff, I know these bikes are known for a weak clutch. I already have a billet left side clutch cyl support/cover. Now what is this mod I need to do to the clutch basket itself. As i have a new clutch set to install this winter, and might as well do the mod then. I know for what i want to do it needs done, so what exactly is it?

Yes i'm turbo'd, but i'm not a drag racer at all. I had a hard time braking into the 10's on my 2005 GSXR 1K! My busa is set up for the twisties, though they are hard to come by in Illinois.

that im not sure. hopefully a drag guy will chime in on this one as im more into the twisties...

My 91 GSXR is set up more for the twisties, heck it only has a 54.5" wheelbase. With a 165rwhp 1216cc motor in it. It looks kinda like a fighter.(naked) I just have to install and wire the headlight and it's done....It's the Black one. The bike in the middle is my '78 GS.
