FINALLY Got My winter Mods Done

Thanks guys! Just got back riding it to church and let it eat a couple times from a slow roll and it's hooking better with 30lbs in the rear opposed to 34 I was running yesterday. It still breaks loose about 8K in 1st and slams the limiter(raised to 11,800) but grabs and holds after the shift to second. Should be fine after it warms up a little but it's nice to be able to get the throttle locked in 1st without the front tire heading for the sky. And no, I have no idea how much I've got into it and don't wanna know-I learned that lesson a long time ago with my dragsleds. So far the mods have been spread out over 3 winters but I really can't go much further next winter.......without going to a RCC hairdryer

one question, what made u go with a 4 over tail vs. a 6 over tail and would it hit if you set it at 6 over ? i am debating on a extended tail, as i am set at 4 over right now and wanna go to 6 over.

I don't like the lines of the +6 near as much as the +4 and will be on the street alot more than the strip. If I removed the license plate it would be fine with the arm at +6 unless it was slammed. If you're gonna be heavy into the strip and go 6" over on the arm you'd be better off with the +6 tail. I may even move the axle up an inch if I can't get a good consistent hookup on the street with it where it's at.

I know how you guys love pics so here's a few more shots. I've got it wired so the switch between the digital gauges powers up the compressor(set up with a switch to automatically come on at 95psi and shut off at 125psi) and selects shift for the horn button while the light tells me when the compressor is actually running. I also mounted a pressure gauge in the right frame rail.
