Well after 45 yrs of life with 38 yrs of that riding a Motorcycle of one type or another I finally went and got the ( M ) endorsement on my lisence.

Never really worried about it all that much until I got Misty, Its probably just a matter of time before I get pulled over and I really dont want to see her getting carted off to the impound yard. So I did it this morning.

I broke down about three years ago and bought my M.
I mean got my M.....it's good to be legal huh

everybody used to ride with just a permit and re-up it every yr,when they changed the law about 4 yrs ago here and made it that you had to retake the test every yr if you didnt have the endorsement everybody bit the bullit and took the test,I got the endorsement from the safety class a few yrs ago..

Did you pass on your busa or something smaller? I got to get mine but I was advised NOT to do it on the busa.

Either way GRATS! :cheerleader::cheerleader:

Are you kidding me?
After all this time,,,, ???
Did your wife bug you into getting it? :poke:
Why did you ruin a good thing!? :banghead:

I have had my endorsement since I was 21 (when I purchased my first bike)

I am 135 years old now.... oh wait, thats how old I feel sometimes. in real years I am 46

Wow! That's a long time without the M endorsement. I went maybe 5 years before getting it.

Beware beware beware that if you ever move to another state, make sure to point out your motorcycle endorsement and then verify it on your license before walking out of the Motor Vehicles. I've moved around the US a lot and two times the DMV has failed to give me my endorsement on my new license. You are stuck once you walk out of the DMV without it and will be basically reset to zero. If you moved to DC, that would mean having to take an MSF course to get your license, which is like $300 and a 6 month wait around here!

dang man i was scared i would get pulled over and get into trouble, I had mine 2 days after i got my first bike!!!! congrats for never getting in trouble:thumbsup:

Went with a buddy and took it on a Honda VTX, I just wasnt sure what the test involved and wasnt sure how the person giving the test would feel about a Stretched / Lowered / Spiked / Chromed Sport Bike. As it turns out it wouldnt have mattered. The lady giving the road course was really cool.

As mentioned, Didnt want to see the Busa Towed off, Never really worried about getting pulled over all that much in the past, But this bike draws attention. And.... Well you know.... It is a Busa, little hard to keep her tame at times.

How many years? Wow somebody is getting old!

Florida DMV has done away with all that testing and issuing licenses, cage testing is handled by private company(s) and M testing is handled via MSF course. Both feed passing test results to the state and the county tax collector then issues the license after verifing test results.

From what I've seen, it's actually working real well in Tampa. Where it used to take hours to get or renew a license, can now be done during a lunch break.
