Picked up my busa today. A 7 hour drive to san Antonio to get it and 7 hours back. Although coming back on the bike was filled with about 4 hours of pouring rain. Coming from a gsx 650f and man this thing is a monster. Picked it up for $8k and came with all kinds of goodies that I didn't know about.
Power commander V
Brocks full exhaust system
Blue hallogen lights
Blacked out tail lights
Double bubble wind shield
Frame sliders
And LOW JACK
The guy who owned it was a commercial jet mechanic so he had it setup NICE
Got the blue and gold and was the most beautiful thing I laid eyes on. Riding back was just amazing. That thing just has this grunt when you twist that throttle that screams power. Gonna take some more pics when I clean it up tomorrow cause 4 hours of highway rain riding leaves it looking a little bit dirty lol.
These are from the dealership before I left.

Welcome to the Org!

Jumpin from the 650 to the Bus is quite a leap.... take it easy for awhile.

She bites. When she does, it can hurt.

I see Vortex rearsets, black levers, and black painted or powdercoated passenger peg brackets too.
Nice find.:beerchug:

congrats and welcome. P.S. Most excellent way to start your Busa ownership experience...ROAD TRIP! :cheerleader:

Yeah that too. He also changed the sprockets. The rear is all aluminum (which I'm going to change to steel) and I'm guessing he did -1/+3 on the sprockets cause on the highway while turning~ 6000rpm in 6th gear I was only going about 75 mph. But the speedometer read about 110!!!!

Speedo healer for the win.

Might also check out Petrik K's software if you are a bit of a gear head.

Get a brembo RCS19. Between that and lines, I made a huge change to the braking ability of my K11.

I think I will change the sprockets back to stock or +1 rear cause I like the highway and getting about 31 mph is not going to cut it

Speedo healer will still help you out. Gen 2's are about 11% high at the stock gearing.

Gas Mileage? I'm not familiar with that.

Stock gearing is 18/46.
Like Craash said speedohealer will fix your speedometer, and ss lines and master cylinder are a big brake improvement.
Ebc HH extreme pro pads are great too.
Here's the manual, it'll come in handy, even if you only need it for torque specs.
