First of all much respect to all of the boosted and juiced riders out there. I had no idea, but now I understand!
I just got my ghetto turbo bike from Dennis yesterday and I decided to ride into work this morning. I took the long route hoping for light traffic and I got lucky. I found an empty stretch along a two-lane country road with very few cars and no deer that I could see near the shoulders. So, I'm cruising in 6th gear, 5k rpms, near 100 mph. I check my six and it's all clear, also all clear up ahead ... a little scared, but a lot excited I go ahead and twist it about 3/4 of the way. I instantly flash back to the year 1979 when I was in the Air Force and won an incentive ride in the back seat of an F-16. I've heard that there was such a thing as turbo lag during spool up, but I don't think so. My tach went towards 8k, my speedometer went towards 160, my front wheel got really light ... no doubt it was in the air and all of this happened before I could finish saying "one mississippi" ... OMG I am in heaven right here on earth. It should be against the law to have this much fun ... oops I guess it is on public roads huh? Anyway ... I'm going to long way back home this evening ... gotta feel that again and again and again ... yes I am addicted. Thanks again Dennis aka Motorhead!!
