After owning many, many sportbikes and other bikes I now have a Hayabusa !
Yes I bought it because of the Turbo etc . I figure if You want to see REAL speed then this should do it.
I completely dissasembled it and am in the process of checking/changing/rebuilding everything as a few items were cobbed in and at that point I descided to check everything.
I am not going to use the nitrous in the engine just use it for the air shifter.
I am hoping to get some valuable information from the experianced people here.
When it is put back together I will post pictures.

Why not run the nitrous to do both increase hp & shift cleaner & faster. I have done it to an 99 Busa & it was perfect

I have been running Nitrous on my Air Shifter system from some time now.

use it for a spool shot. you can run a hobbs switch, when you hit x psi, the nitrous cuts off, or bypass the switch and haul ass

Thanks to all for the welcome. I will try to take some pics tomorrow and post them . I have a large shop at work and the bike is hung up with a chain fault from the ceiiling ( 25 ft of chain , 20 ton fault) wheels are off, swingarm at the powder coaters, peg mounts and pedals etc also there.
Body just finished painted and I think i have spent + or - $2500 on misc. parts from Pazzo levers to adjustable lowering links (with heim joints) to beautiful carbon fiber top body panels etc etc.
I am sure this is tip of the iceburg. Great to dowith 2 kids in college!
I have to find some info on plumbing for the air shifter as we are not positive how they work.
Also i have never ridden anything with an extended swingarm.
I think i am going to run the bike not lowered as again i have not ridden them that way .
I am sure they have some snot to them and I hear the nitrous is rough on the engine . With low boost there should be no issue with the engine as far as longevity. It was dyno'd at 8pounds of boost on pump gas at 220 h/p.
I guess I'll learn to walk before I'll run so to speak.
My wife is laughing cause every night I go to ebay and brouse and buy!

I like the cleaness of all your equipment mounting. When i opened mine it was all stuffed behind the engine in the heat. We are rerunning everything to the same place you have yours . Yours looks just like what I need/want. tx

Welcome to the .org and congrats on the purchase of your turbo 'Busa! You will find all kinds of info and help from the great people on the site.
