Well, I removed those dreaded reflectors. Got real brave and did the grab rail hump mod. I also removed the warning sticker from the tank. Does that qualify as a mod?? Anyway, am going to remove the stickers from the frame tonight.

Ya do the Storage Mod yet? Or is that on the todo list?

I plan on doing the storage mod pretty soon. I think that should be pretty easy and less nerve racking than cutting up a brand new plastic hump!!!!! Also plan on sideview mirror spacers, TRE + commander, and Helibars.

Yeah, faring screens would be good. I found some that are chromed in post in the modifications forum. I probably will end up doing that too! Seems like I have an infection now, gotta modify everything!!!!!!!!

Hey guys, what do you think? Do you really need a TRE with a PC?

Opnions please. I am thinking of adding a TRE, but my tuner says I don't need it, that the bike isn't restricted since the PCIIIr was added.

PS still gotta figure out what the storage mod is...

Good Job on the mods

I would be careful of removing the stickers from the frame. Just make sure that the ones you remove aren't required by law to be there. Make sure you leave the one with the VIN on it.

Thanks for the heads up stkr00! I really lucked out cause the one with the VIN is under the left front faring. I decided not to remove that one until I do mods requiring the removal of the faring. Isn't the VIN on a metal plaque somewhere or engraved in the frame or engine somewhere too??

Honestly...I don't know if the VIN is engraved anywhere or not. I just wouldn't remove anything with the VIN on it.

if your in another state and get stopped for Insurance or Lis. check and your bike is check and NO VIN # visable !
