First Post, First Sport Bike

Welcome and congrats on your new busa:cheerleader:
Comparing a Harley with a Busa is like getting out of a
dump truck and into a Z06 Corvette.
Becareful and take it easy and watch the speedometer
You will surprised sometimes and look down and say
CHIT! I am going 120MPH and I thought I was only doing 70:welcome:

Well said

Dpert1,
Consider it a blessing and all things happen for a reason.
The Hayabusa was in your destiny, you will not de disappointed!

:welcome: I think you will be happy with the end result of the way things went down (getting the Busa instead). Put it up against your friends V-Rod if ya need convincing.
I`m more of a FNG here than you:whistle:
 Get this; a friend of the wifes was over the day I brought my new machine home (Friday) and she ask, "so is that your new ROTTON CROTCH", WTF? not sure who was more embarrased, hehe...she`s actually kinda hot, but now I wonder if she needs to go see the Dr. or sumthin!
Thanks for your service, and keep us updated on how you like the new bike.

So its your frist forday into sportbikes....

Read the survival sections, ask for advice, take your time and PLEASE be careful. The Busa is ALOT to handle..get your confidence and balance before you put your pretty young lady behind you...we welcome you, want you to stay around and most importantly want you to be SAFE..

ATGATT

:welcome:

This is your first sportbike?? Yikes. Umm. Don't twist that throttle too much at first! Haha.

And who would get bored of a 600cc bike? If all you're doing is street riding, that's more than enough bike.

First off, :welcome: to the org! Glad you decided against the HD! :beerchug:

Secondly,
Welcome to the oRg. We have another Lotus owner on the board, and cant wait to see pics of the new bike.

But we are currently not talking to him since he needs to produce pictures of a certain Lotus poster that the ORG helped him win..
:poke:

Congrats on the new Busa! Thanks for your service. I am an Army Vet myself. Good times my friend. Keep both of those rides rubber side down and stay as safe as you can.:welcome:
