HI guys,
Well this is my first post. I wanted to say hi to everyone and stuff. I've been sneaking around on the forum for a week or so just absorbing all that this place has to offer .
In July I bought an 05 black and gray busa. It's my first bike, and only after long months of studying up on bikes, a motorcycle saftey course, passing my class M, and making a solid investment in safety gear, (and telling my mom who is a doctor who did an orthopedics round in residency and swore her child would never ride a motorcyle) did I decide to buy the bike. I've been taking baby steps ever since July.
I'm a pretty skilled driver, which doesn't translate alot into motorcyling skills, but I took to the bike with the same methodology I use when driving my mustang... Become one with the vehicle, and don't be tempted by the darkside! Well I've put over 1000 miles on her since then, and I must say I F******* love my bike!
To answer your next set questions, yes I've dropped her in the garage, yes I know what loose gravel can do even at low speeds, yes my heart rate has jumped up past 200 a couple of time, and I have had no serious or mild injuries.
Now I was waiting to post until I was finally out of the hell that has been getting this bike's title cleared up:banghead:, which will hopefully happen on Wednesday *praise Jesus*, but I had something really cool happen to me on Tem today. However this post is running kinda long so since I do try to write a little, I'm going to hold off, write it up story form, and post the coolness.

BTW for those who are wondering what "Tem" is, well that's short for my busa's name, Temeraire. Well that's it for my introduction, now it's time for PICTURES!

:welcome: Well, congrats on the scooter - It sounds like you have a good outlook about what you are sitting on.

A GP bike is a pussycat in the hands of a skilled rider; a moped is an instrument of death in the hands of an idiot. Sounds like you respect her... best way to start!

Welcome to org bro, glad you found us. And by the way, the 05's were the best year! :cheerleader:

:welcome: to the org. and I guess this is your first scoot, your doing good by taking baby steps ........ enjoy the ride

Very nice intro. Great bike and thanks for the pics.
What part of Texas?
Ride fun Ride safe
:welcome: to the ORG
