Thumbs up fellow Busa owners. Just found this site a couple of days ago while visiting family out of town. This is great!
Have had my black and gray Busa since May of this year...just turned 4500 miles and absolutely love this machine...my ol' lady is sooooo jealous...she just doesn't understand.
Anyhow, I had read in one of the MC rags about braking problems (brakes supposedly aren't there when you need them, then cut in abruptly) with the Busa while riding in wet weather. I just finished 3 hours across part of my home state in the rain and didn't seem to have any problems...anyone have any input or cautions for me?
RIDE ON!!!

Rode in the rain a couple of times and the brakes work ok,you have to warm up the pads and disk alittle before using them,I normally ride the brake about 1/8 mile before my turn off from the freeway, plus I don't do stupid stuff like quick lane changes on the first down pour of the day, since this is the same time period that the oil from cars and other veheciles comes up to the surface, also look out for wet painted lines on the roadway and manhole covers.Ride safe,Oh ya welcome to the board Lakeman007 hope you get some good tips from all the members.

Thanks for gettin' back Cisco. While I was waiting for some feedback, I checked this site out somemore and found a pretty good section on braking. That's the kind of good information I was hoping this site would have.

Welcome Lakeman. I recommend that you try the search function before asking questions. There's perhaps 5000 posts on this site. Somebody has addressed almost everything. Probably good netiquette for us all to do.

Again, welcome, hope you enjoy us.

VegasDude, Rain is the liquid form of snow.
Snow is what I will get in a few weeks. ( Living further north than Alaska has its drawbacks sometimes.........)
