Get the boostbysmith derestrictor. It's only $30 or get the ECUeditor software.

Is that just a simple plug in thingy that eliminates top speed limiter ?
Yes I need/want to ecu edit it but don't have any tuners here familiar enough with it. :(

Plugs into the same plug that the TRE does. It takes about 5 minutes to install.

Thanks guys. I definately had a blast. cant wait until the next time....and of course, I want to go faster:thumbsup:

I am going to look at loosing weight in both me and the bike and other items

nothing to be ashamed of you have done something VERY FEW have done
1)Ran a standing mile coruse
2) brought home a running bike
3)HAD FUN.

ps. if I knew that was you I would have been hanging around more even if I had my plate pretty full

Thanks Johnny. I know you are busy out there with helping others and answering a lot of questions.

congrats!

You had fun, no damage, and you went 177 in a mile from a standing start. I would say that's pretty darn good. Getting a good launch, hitting your shifts, and tucking like mad sounds easy enough but now you know first hand what it takes to be fast in the mile.:beerchug::thumbsup:

I know my shifts were all over the place as I tried to get the best ones...then just ran out of time. I need to learn this bike better, it was the first time I rode it, other than making sure it worked:laugh:

I know my tuck needs work. I see alot had double bubbles and I still had on the stock screen. I should have taken the one off my 06 with me.

Awesome. I wish I knew that you were from the org. I was busy setting my bike up, and helping my 2 brothers get there's done also. I hit 184.9 and my goal was 185 so I didn't quite get there.

The mile is awesome. Completely different than what I expected.

I kind of thought that was you guys. Ya'll had the OU chairs out?

You dont realize how much time you dont have when you are running and not just spectating.

Nice vid.....kind of surprised you were shifting so early...

auto shift was giving me some problems. I'll post another with better shifts.....except 1st-2nd:whistle:

Also, if you notice in that 1st video....when the light blinks 3 times....my horn honks 3 times:rofl:

Yep that was us! I didn't have time to really do anything. i wanted to walk the mile and take some pics but never had a chance.

We just made it home an hour ago. I'll try to post a couple of videos tomorrow. I am TIRED. We had 1 blown tire on the way down there and 2 on the way home. We should have been home around 4 or 5pm. It has been a crazy day! We are trying to figure out how we can do October or next March now.:thumbsup:
