First time wax

I would suggest waiting at least a month before waxing.

From someone that has been painting his entire life of 32years in his Dad's bodyshop; You are OK to wax the bike after 2 weeks. I have been known to watersand and buff a job within a week's time and it comes out perfect.

I will agree that after a Month the paint will be a bit more solid, but a coat of protective wax isn't going to damage anything.

You're paint is good to go.

Also, different brands may have longer or shorter cure times.
