Don't worry us tax payers here will pick up the rest of the bill! We have and will.$10,000 of insurance will not completely cover the airlift from the scene of the crash to the trama center.

+1I believe you still need eye protection, even at night(sunglasses no good at night, you have to have the yellow or clear type).
Unless you're strolling down Main St. in the middle of bike week doing all of 5mph, you would be smart to wear a helmet.
Yep!.. if you must wear flip-flops and shorts..... wear a helmet!! shining the skin off your legs sucks.... being spoon fed baby food and gurgling at shiny things while your loved ones cry sucks worse!!So what your saying is I should be wearing a helmet while drag racing in flip-flops and shorts?
Come to Daytona Beach in March this year, you can see 500,000 (+or-) folks all driving the same bikes, all wearing black shirts, and about zero wearing helmets....You chaps certainly have some strange laws, whats the old saying about a 2 dollar helmet for a 2 dollar head?
Surely common sense prevails and a helmet should be on at all times. The majority of accidents happen close to home, so the short trip down to the shops is actually the most dangerous, according to our authorities. I use a AGV...good enough for ROSSI, must be OK for me. Wear it all the time, even yesterday with temperaturers soaring into the 40 deg C. Yep I sweat, but it's simply not worth the risk. I have to many responsibilities and could not think of ending up a vegetable just because I never had a lid on. my 2c worth..
Actually I am a ATGATT person but what I am saying is if I live a block away from some store and I need a box of baking soda, I am probably willing to motor up there and back without my full gear on..So what your saying is I should be wearing a helmet while drag racing in flip-flops and shorts?
When I ride out the back of C-130's at 9000' I always wear eye protection and a chute. I also let the tire presure down alitte to avoid flat spots on the busa's wheels on landings.
