It's ok, I'm old enough to be GSXTacy's father!

In fact I am his father

He will tell you though, I have a music room full of guitars, amps, keyboards, recording equipment etc. I have been playing since I was 10 years old, so those are the bands that I played to while growing up, but I like most music of all types. Although I'm a grandpa, I may bust out with some Nine Inch Nails on ya!

Some I forgot that I love are James Gang, Scorpions, Yardbirds, Sammy Hagar, Golden Earring, Iron Butterfly. I could go on and on. Some of you young guys should check out some of the old bands, You may like!

No shid?

A father that likes NiN, Scorpions, and everything in between? I'm 16 and i never thought i would see that. My parents have always complained about rock music giving them a headache. Even my dad when he was still alive didn't like it.

Really cool GSXCite!

Thanks, I'm young at heart. Some others you may not know of. Mountain with Leslie West, The Fixx, Slade, BTO,ELO, Emerson Lake and Palmer, Black Oak Arkansas, The Kinks, The Turtles, Roy Buchanan. The Scorpions was one of the best shows I ever went to. I like alot of new stuff too. Tool, Korn, Soundgarden, Nickelback, Three doors down. I like it all . If you listen to some of the old bands, you will be able to tell where some of the new bands got there licks!

I kinda have an idea. I think Disturbed has remade a lot of older songs. Such as Shout 2000, and i THINK Land of Confusion is a remake but i'm not sure!

Yes Land of Confusion was a song by a group called Genesis. Phill Collens was the drummer in that band if you know who he is.

Just hope you mean Phil CollIns.

If not, then i probably don't know him.

Did he sing in the soundtrack for that animated
movie, "Tarzan?"

Want to check out some music that makes Disturbed seem tame, check out my son Matt
and GSXTacy's brother"s band on the internet. They are out of Seattle and the name of the group is Serpens Aeon.

The Eagles,ARS,38 Special,Mother's Finest,Outlaws,Marshall Tucker Band,Allman Brothers,Skynard,Jackson Browne,Cat Stevens,10cc,Foghat,Three Dogg Night,Rush,.........

Guess I'm the "OLD FART" here--I like classic rock---Stones, Queen, Kiss, ZZ Top, Creed--as well as lots of Jazz & Blues
