For the VA riders

Sorry to Ben and Paul for the thread-jacking...it did get a mind of it's own and I apologize...

There are a few that aren't up for a run to VA Beach, so we're proposing the following...anyone that wants to tag along is welcome...

Here's a rough sketch of my plan...we may or may not have time to head to Yorktown; depends on how long you guys want to ride...I'm all for keeping with the small towns to shorten it up a bit...

The blue route is a proposed trip back to Massaponax where we start the ride...just a few miles of doubling-back from the deadend towns...

Tom - I'm all for heading back up toward Massaponnax after lunch as well...I was thinking of the guys that wanted to head on to Virginia Beach, but they're doing another ride, so we can stick with my small towns and call it a day

We're all meeting at the Massaponnax exit off of I-95 then heading down Rt. 17 toward Tappahannock...heading to my neck of the woods

I don't know the mileage...I'd have to do more work to figure that out! LOL

That obscure coastal area is about 1 hr 15 minutes from downtown Richmond...my guess is that if you made the run, you'd want to meet up with us in Tappahannock, taking 360 from Richmond...

This, of course, is a different route that the ride Ben and Paul are doing from Williamsburg to VA Beach...

Gotcha, I ve seen VaBeach a few million times and I hate paying the tickets I get from the local Leo.

So I may join you guys instead.

The 26th is a loooong time away. I know something will come up so you can't go. Some guy might want his wheels done for his 06 LE that day.

The Virginia Beach trip was fun last year; hotter than 2 hells, but still worth the trip...I'm not up for that now though; the heat is killing me this summer and my Busa hates Virginia Beach (gets close to overheating), so it'll be nice to show the gang "my neck of the woods" for a change...be warned, there's only one stoplight where I live LOL It's Smallville...

FYI a good place to stop to eat is David's Last Chance. It is on RT33 going towards Saluda. When you cross the bridge from White Stone, I hope that makes since ……

David's Last Chance is about 8 miles from my house

I was at the Massaponnax exit last week; thought the Wal-Mart location would be ideal as well...can't miss it!
