I am re-thinking doing the other meet in favor of this one. I live in Virginia Beach and might want to do the run from VA Busas and back but I need to know the "meet at times" to plan for leaving my house to get to the point to meet up with VA Busa to "go from there". I have been up 64 west all the way to I81 but don't know how to get to our jump off point. It takes about 35 minutes to get from my house to Newport News Airport. How far from there to our jump off point, VA Busa? And what time in the AM do you want to leave?
Tom's set the time to meet off of I-95 at 10:30 a.m.
I'm two hours south of the meeting spot and just going along for the ride, so I'd say I'll be leaving around 7:30 - 7:45, giving myself plenty of time to get there...
I'm 1 hr north of Newport News...ever been as far up as Gloucester? Just over the Yorktown bridge?
You don't need to make that morning ride up to meet everyone if you don't want to...I'm just doing it to ride more
I've never been in the area you mentioned. Any time I have headed NW up I64, I have either gone to the airport @ Newport News or kept going to I81. I am used to getting up early so the hour is no problem. I just have to know where to go so I won't hold you up. I have never made a trip this long on a bike either.

Sat. August 26th, 10:00 AM, meet at the SE end of the Wal-Mart parking lot off of Rt 1 and I-95, Massaponix exit. We'll leave promptly at 10:30 AM.
We are riding down Rt 17 to the ocean, then going for a swim with the jelly fishes!

My wife was going to come but she backed out. Too many concerns about leaving two kids "parentless" if something were to happen to us. I have to respect her feelings.
