Yeah, I figured a photo essay of this job would be a hit. And no, I'm not goin' retro, I just hate the gold fork tubes and sliders on the '03 forks. Seems Rev prefers them, so we're just swappin' out so we both get what we want.

OK Finally got a New Front and #6 pin ordered from Cyclegear.com. Should be here soon. UPS Ground was only shipping option though so there might be a delay.

I will be picking up a torque wrench this evening on the way home. Unless anyone has a better Idea I'll prolly stick with Craftsman. It's just what I have allways purchased.

So we should be good to go BT.

I'll be Swappping forks, sending the Header/mid-pipe to Jet-hot, and finally installing my HID kit from Icemann. Then I'll move around to the rear of the bike and take care of the Freestyle Undertail, and UFO Tailight... Last mod for the ryear will prolly be a Second look Tankskin...

Oh and Bullet, it's not the Gold I want, I really don't mind it, but what I am after is the Black lower. Where the Axle Mounts... Gotta get me more black on the bike.

Here's a question though, do we swap Axle's as well or do you think it will make any difference? I mean there shouldn't be any difference right?

Hey Train....wuz up bro....what ya doin.

Curiosity is killin me!!

Nothin' special regarding the forks. I just HATE gold accents on my rides and wanted the silver finish of the '02 forks. Rev wants the black lowers of the '03 forks. So, we're swappin' forks so we both get what we want without havin' to buy a second set of forks.

You don't have to swap axles since they are the same.

Well, Yeah... I mean that is the obvious answer. But you know how parts wear in together? Sorta like the frame and slide of a Semi-Auto Pistol? Yeah other slides from identical pistols will fit, but there is allways that little bit of... You know... Creep? It was just a thought.

BT, Any thoughts on my yanking the PAIR while I am in there with the headers off???
