Fork Seals

Just for you info here,
OEM springs are good for a 165lb rider on a Gen one
Suspension upgrades are the best thing you can do to your bike

Strapping a bike to a trailer is also hard on oil seals. If you need to get your bike somewhere, ride it there. If the forks do start leaking, clean the seals with a SealMate or Risk Racing fork seal tool. I use these regularly on my dirt bike and rarely have to replace fork seals, even though the forks are in mud and grit most of the time.

Worth checking that the brake pads aren’t rattling around in the callipers, if the clunk is under braking, i had a bike, with floating discs and the out ring was clunking against the worn disc rivets.
