Found a new forum for ripping dvds and cds

If you want to rip DVDs and copy stuff in general, AfterDawn.com has a lot of helpful people. They can get you passed all the new anti-copy strategies by people like Sony. They can put you on to the best copy software too.

They seem like a really nice bunch. Just don't say things like "I'm trying to copy a rental DVD." They're kind of sensitive about the language. Your trying to backup your DVD.

What you want to know about ripping or burning..
All you need is DVDFABdecrypter,DVDshrink3.2,FreeDVD,Nero
and maybe on occasion dvddecrypter.. And there all free

Two DVD drives installed. 5 seconds of your time making a copy...
Very nice copmpress algorhitm.. 2 layers DVD into one and no visible loss.

I heard DVD Decrypter is shut down. I have been using it for a couple of years and am sorry that it won,t be updated any more.  I use Dvd Decrypter and DVD Shrink then Nero to burn.

I have dvd xcopy platinium works good on some but not all wont crack codes on some of the newer disc at least that is what i found..FAVahalik you are right after dawn is a great place to go .if you cant crack one you go there and somebody is sure to know how...

dvd shrink 3.2 with AnyDVD is the way to go. it's cracked all copy protection I've come across. Yet to find a DVD I couldn't copy yet.

You are correct, some DVDs won`t copy.
I find out that DVD drive itself could be involved in this issue.
Keep You DVD drive freshly flashed... It helps a lot.

I was experimenting with different setups to make a copy with minimum involvement... XCopy platinum and dvd decripter works the best for me.. I also upgrade DVD drive software as soon as available.

don't see why it won't last, we are all legally able to make legitimate backup's of all of our dvd's. That what I do. so I take the copy to work and leave the original back at blockbuster.. I mean at home,
