A long-standing complaint about the Busa has been it's lack of a digital speedo, which would definitely correct speed. Well, some have found alternatives like the Veypor and/or other components. Well, if you haven't seen this already... check it out and give your ideas. Price not too shabby either...

You all have got to laugh at the MSRP on it though

I like my analog style, especially with the blue gauge upgrade

I like the Veypor, but there is a guy on the VTX boards who did one where he made a chrome plate for it.

That was hot.

I don't like digital. When I ride the gixxer, the digital speedo is a real distraction.

Digital speedos are more accurate...almost precise even. It's a possibility...

Helluva price break!

I don't hate the digital displays, but I'm happy with my stock read-out and wouldn't spend the cash on an upgrade...

The trouble with digital is you have to 'read' it. A glance at an analog gauge that you are familiar with will tell you all you need to know. But 60, 80 and 90 in digits look a lot alike at a glance. Think tach. Shift points become the angle of the needle. No need to read the number.

the problem is with stuff like that is you still have to have the other analog guages. it just looks fugly with both of them on there. ill stick with my stockers.

Yup, like reading a clock... I drive / ride by the tach and the sound of the motor more than the speedo.

my periphial vision can keep a subconscious eye (so to speak) on analog needles sweeping a face but digital sux...digital is just a flickering distraction to my minds eye...jmho and l8r, Bill.

I just get a kick out of watching the speedo spinning around the dial. Just a stupid BIG THRILL!!!!
