What are your thoughts on your Ohlins fork? You must have a Ohlins rear. Better adjustability than the stock? Better control? Did you get the spring rates for your weight?

Inquiring minds want to know!

unfortunately, I haven't gotten the matching rear shock. I was debating on installing a 600 arm and therefore would need a 600 shock. I didn't want to buy the wrong shock until I made up my mind. I was all for the 600 arm until I boosted it, and now i'm thinking i'll keep the stock busa arm and just raise it up 1". I will finish the rear suspension while the motors out this spring. I bought the forks from Dan Kyle Racing and had superbike internals installed. I also had them resprung for my weight. The forks are a big difference from stock. I would say though, the best money spent was the wheels. They were the biggest noticeable difference, besides the turbo.

I got rims this fall, I think the next step is suspension upgrades. I'm +1 in the rear and racetec springs in the front, but I'm jonesing for Ohlins.

If you've already done the forks, i'd recommend the Ohlins rear shock before you get the forks. The stock shock is junk and you will notice the Ohlins shock more than the forks. On the GSXR1K, I will just be installing the cartridges in the forks and replacing the shock. Most sportbike forks now a days are pretty good with some good valves and correct springs, but for some reason, the shocks go bad very quickly. I've heard a stock shock is pretty much junk after one trackday.

I don't know yet, 2008 isn't even here yet! I still have alot i'd like to do to the busa and then i'm going to be road racing and supermoto racing, so I don't even know if there's time to look for a new project. I do have to buy a Yamaha Zuma scooter though. Then that will get a 70cc big bore, Leo Vince exhaust, and clutch kit.
